What's New in Version 5.14.2
iOS 11 bug fixes.
We have the shared 4GB data plan for the two of us that allows carryover of unused data. We typically don’t use data (less than 15%) as we are generally in locations that have wifi. So it was a little concerning to open the Datahub tab to see we had 0/0 GB remaining and an offer to get more data. I try to keep track of our use after Apple changed settings in an update that switched you over to data if it felt the wifi signal wasn’t strong enough. Having that happen behind the scenes while streaming a movie is a sure fire way to eat up your data.
Anyway, in looking at each individual device we had used less than 10% of our data allotment. Clearly there is an error in the datahub data used calculation where 1.) it isn’t correctly picking up the amount of data in the plan, and 2.) not correctly calculating how much data is actually being used. These figures are correctly being displayed elsewhere, just not on the Datahub overview screen.
I cannot tell you how grateful I am for every person I spoke to thru the 611 customer service plan. I do not care for the corporate office in
My town, although the last person I dealt with, a young man, was extremely kind. I would like to put out a special thank you to Derek, Amber and Shondra. And I believe the young man at the corporate office in Great Falls MT is named Kyle. They treated me like a human being. I thank all of them for their compassion.
My only leftover complaint would be what I am supposed to do with the 200,000 rewards that expire Nov 1st. It would be nice if you can transfer to the new Verizon up program. Other than that, your customer service thru 611 is excellent!
Verizon is great but...
Verizon is a great service with great coverage, but it’s by no means is it affordable. Verizon used to be the best network in my humble opinion, but things have changed, other company’s (T-Mobile, AT&T) have caught up and are more affordable than Verizon is now. I never thought of changing to another service but now I’m thinking about it, and will prolly do it in the near future. Sorry Verizon, our 8yr relationship has been good for the most part, but I think it’s time for me to move on soon.
