Description
PresenterMate is a great tool to make your Mac desktop look clear and unobstructed during presentations, demos and screen-casts, and even to just clear the desktop so you could clear your mind.
When you open the application, PresenterMate puts an icon in the right side of your menu bar, and all the icons of folders, files, pages, pictures and anything else that might have cluttered your desktop, it all disappears from view. Close the application by clicking a button in the menu bar and all the icons come back.
When you open/close this application, it will momentarily relaunch your Finder, so just make sure you are not copying any files while opening/closing PresenterMate and you are good to go.
Unclutter your desktop, clear your mind.

Clutter to CLEAN in one click.... Love IT
This app does its job perfectly! I have always suffered when it came to my messy desktop while having to present and show clients my screen. This makes daily use much easier AND cleaner =]

You will never have to accidentally show your mess or what you are working on again...
Love this -- cleans up my desktop in a snap (have one recommendation though)
My desktop is a mess -- I admit it. This is exactly what I was looking for.
My only recommendations for future updates:
1) don't force me to 'quit' PresenterMate -- just have me turn it on/off (but leave it up as an active icon... sort of how 'Caffeine' works)
2) allow me to pick a desktop background (maybe different from my normal desktop background); because my normal one is sorta goofy... but for presentations, I might want something more professional

Fine but not great.
I agree with the other reviewer who said they wished that they could just turn the app on and off and not have to be forced to quit after you turn it off. Otherwise, it works as it should.
