What's New in Version 4.7.9
We squashed a few bugs and made some improvements to Club Tapingo
Pretty inaccurate wait times
For the most part, Tapingo has fairly inaccurate wait times for many of the restaurants it advertises on its map. 5 minutes can end up being 30 minutes at many locations. The staff of these restaurants even admit that Tapingo falsely advertises a shorter wait time than is actually available due to restaurants getting barraged with orders and Tapingo not accurately reflecting the amount of people waiting for food. Also, parts of orders are lost on a regular basis but getting a refund on your order can be a difficult and lengthy process. Frankly the app is a good concept and is quite effective at times but customer service and advertised wait time on the app need to be improved to actually make the app more convenient than waiting in line.
Tapingo sends me a notification that they're delivering Raising Canes free all night yet they close down the option to order from them in the app. When I called customer service they were no help and no matter what question I asked they gave me the same answer as if they didn't understand what language I was speaking. Not to mention that they add extra money on each food item and still have the nerve to charge a service fee and automatically include a tip. I am not happy with this service whatsoever. It's a great idea for an app but not practical when they nickel and dime you to death.
Club member status totally worth it! Only thing is that the hours are not only not posted anywhere but do not match up with the stores listed under delivery so the stores are still open but delivery is not available :(
