Minor bug fixes
Great monster hunter game for phones
At first I was hesitant to get this game because I knew it wouldn't be the same kind of game and experience you would get on the ps2, psp, 3ds, wii, or wii u. But after playing a few quests I found that it doesn't have to be in order to be a fun game in its own unique way. Tactics and good observational skills are still needed. You need to be aware of when to strike, when to block, and when to dodge. Each monster attacks differently so you're going to have to come up with different ways to handle the battle. Even though there are others clamoring for more monsters, the roster here is actually pretty huge. And considering that this is a phone app, the amount of monsters is plenty. Even after you've defeated all the monsters, it's fun to go back and work on unlocking other armor sets and weapons or seeing if you can beat your previous time on defeating a monster. The only criticism I would have is the lack of bowguns and bows. But i suppose if they put those they would need to put in gunner armor which would require a ton more space. And this is pretty much filled to the brim already. Again, this is not the same type of monster hunter on consoles and portables, but that's okay. It's a different type of gaming experience that's fun and challenging. I recommend it.
Great game, gets a bit OP after LV 2
I'll admit, I thought this was too easy. At least till I got past the level 2 quests. Currently I'm stuck at 15, which is where I'm getting the most frustrated. For one, the Gravios is a huge dragon, especially in this game. So why the hell is it that when I do my dual blade rage/counter attack that I don't land every hit even though I'm as close as I can be to it? Also the fact that you can survive his beam attack but yet if it's chin falls on you instead, it's a one-hit KO. It makes no sense because if I recall from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, (Psp), being hit by the Gravios's chin does LESS DAMAGE THEN TAKING A FULL ON BEAM TO GHE FACE!!! Please make adjustments, for I feel that currently, I am not able to beat it without it repeatedly roaring out of pure amusement for itself and then playing "Whack a Hunter" with its chin.
All I can say is wow. This game is incredibly fun and is more approachable for new players. There are less things to know in this version, so the learning curve is not too bad. The only thing that gets me is the lack of a sharpness system and the missing weapon types. I look forward to watching this game update, and I hope they eventually release more monsters from unite along with their weapons and armor. Also, to the people who say they were hoping for the console game, it CLEARLY states in the description that it's different than the console. Don't be disappointed in the developer, be disappointed with yourself for not reading the description.
