Just works

PHD in the 613

Love this app. It’s my first go-to when my drive is getting tight on space, before even emptying the trash since it does that for you. Really effective at scouring the contents of all those directories under ~/Library that I don’t want to think about myself.

Helpful in tight situations :-)

I’m not sure that this gets rid of absolutely all things that are probably unnecessary for most people, but it does categorize them and give you simple choices.

Doesn't work on external drives, despite words saying it does

DESSERTFIRST

Words describing the app indicate it works on internal and external drives, Not true. I have IMAC, running latest OS/10.7.2 w one internal drive and an external drive with 2 partitions for Back ups and Time Machine. Time Machine does not appear in the selection window, so can't put that drive on a diet, Backups does, yet when I select the Backups drive to put on a diet, none of the selections can be checked, thus it doesn't work.

There should be some way for the buyer to feel confident that the App really does what the marketing words say it will do. I have the latest version of the App, guess that means to QC testing was done. A low price for an App should not mean it doesn't work.
