Finally affordable...awesome game
I wanted to try one of Mumbo Jumbo's games for quite some time, but the high $ amount always stopped me...no free trial to see if you liked it before buying either. I was really happy to see the prices reduced to comparable games from other companies. I had to pay before trying...still no free trial...but I figured $2.99 was worth finding out if they were as good as I thought they looked.
I just finished Devil on the Mississippi & wasn't disappointed. I paid another $2.99 for the CE, but I always do whenever it's available. It was a really awesome game...worth every penny. In fact, I bought the other two b/c now I know what I'm getting!! Unlike Big Fish, which is a hit & miss. You never know who's the actual developer until the game's installed & some of them are really bad...I'd never buy without a free trial.
I hope your next game is priced the same b/c I'm looking forward to it...Please no more $9.99 prices...that's way too much for any game. So thank you, Mumbo Jumbo, for a quality game at a great price!!
Amazing - Honest reviews by Marquis
OK, THIS is what an adventure, click and point, hidden game should be. Listen up Big Fish!! Mumbo-Jumbo is who you need to pay attention to and aspire to. Amazing artwork and graphics by a Russian team (I believe) and they were brilliant! The story is imaginative and compelling. The game play is smooth and nothing short of perfection. The animation is as close to movie effects as you will find on your iPad and the score by "lava man" is what you would find in a major motion picture. Great length of play, hints that help but do not do it for you and at the reasonable price of $4.99. No tricks to get you to pay more during the game. Just some options at the very end after completion. Honest and trustworthy company. Again, listen up Big Fish! Mumbo-Jumbo, you have a loyal client here. Keep them coming! I already purchased he new Houdini adventure and can't wait to get started.
Best Game of this Genre EVER!
I couldn't put this game down and with it being between 5-7hrs I was up real late. The graphics are incredible, the hidden objects are just challenging enough and while the puzzles are challenging (not hard) sometimes it wasn't immediately clear what you had to do to solve the puzzle; even when the hint button was pushed. It wasn't until I realized that I needed to back out of the game (yes loosing what progress I had made) then hitting the hint button and I would be given directions on what to do. Overall great game. I immediately downloaded similar games. Please keep sequels coming.
