~ The first COOPERATIVE boardgame available on the Apple Store! ~
The players must unite their forces to beat the game.
If the right decisions are taken at the right moment, then you'll be able to taste the sweet taste of victory. Otherwise, you all lose!
You play the part of a Taoist monk with supernatural powers.
Your final goal: vanquish WU-FENG, the wicked Lord of Darkness.
In GHOST STORIES, the forces of good won't get a break – the ghosts will attack you unceasingly.
You'll have to team up to repel the attack of the ghosts, zombies and other abominations under Wu-Feng's command.
You can defeat them through sheer strength or by calling upon Taoist magic..
Don't hesitate to call upon the skills of the villagers you are protecting.
The WITCH will help you exorcise a ghost but there will be a price to pay... the PRIESTS will pray in order to help you with some of your battles or the HERBALIST will help you find new ingredients for your spells...
Be stronger and more clever than Evil and the village will be saved.
Will you be brave enough to vanquish Wu-Feng and his minions?

Awful, simply awful
I wish I could give this App a 0. I have played the board game and enjoyed, which is why I got the App. But I am certain the dice rolling aspect is off. I know the math on specific die rolls and am well under half of what I should be after a half dozen games (so well over a hundred die rolls.) I don't believe in "being unlucky", no one is better or worse at rolling dice, but dice rolling programs can be flawed, and this one is.
A second massive flaw is the ability to go back, or more accurately the inability to go back beyond the last thing you just did. There are about a billion things to track in this game and when playing a four character game, it is really easy for these to slip from time to time. The problem is, the go back feature is very poor, and a single mistake can literally cost you an entire game. Needless to say, when it is not uncommon to make a half dozen "mistakes" in a game, this is quite frustrating. A simple prompt that said "Hey stupid, you are about to end the turn and didn't place your Buddha/use your special power/any other number of things that there would be no reason to do. Are you sure you want to continue?" would solve 99% of the problem.
Both of these can be fixed via a patch, so don't buy this App until they are fixed.
Love this game!
It took a little while to get into the groove but I was determined to learn it. As long as you figure out what each tile does and use ALL of them as needed, it becomes relatively easy. I play on hell mode and rarely lose a game. It was nice to overcome the challenge so if you're determined and love something that will take time to master, then this game is perfect for you.
Hint: the yellow guy is the easiest to win with!
Fun game, but very hard
I played the board game once, so I may have a slight edge in understanding this thing. The learning curve is fairly steep and it's unforgiving of mistakes. Still, it's a fun little Big Trouble in Little China themed solitaire game of kung fu masters vs. evil ghosts. It can be beat (I've won twice!) but it's darn hard. The cards are cool but the graphics are tame so I could see this wearing after a while.
