Scorekeeper XL

By Matt Rix

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

Scorekeeper XL is a great app for keeping score when playing board games or party games with your friends.

How to use:

Top left button: add player.
Top right button: sort lowest-to-highest.
Bottom right button: toggle volume.
Bottom left button: reset scores to 0.

When editing a player, you can use the skull and crossbones to delete that player.

To increase a player's score, simply tap on the plus and minus buttons next to their score. If you hold the button it'll count up a lot quicker.

That's about it, have fun!

What's New in Version 1.2

Scorekeeper now has 64-bit support, so it'll work great in iOS 11!

I'm also working on an even better version with some new features, so keep an eye out for it.

Best, simplest scorekeeping app

I bought this years ago. Couldn't tell you how long it was now. It's tracked hundred of board games, card games, suplexes by Brock Lesnar in a single match, the list goes on. I was sad to start getting the warnings that it wouldn't run in iOS 11.

Developer comes in after 4? 5? years of no updates (it legitimately DID NOT need updates, that's not a knock against it) and pushes a valid 64-bit application for iOS 11.

I can honestly say I've gotten the most use and distance out of this app more than any other third part app since I bought my first iPhone 3GS. Hats off to the dev, wish apps today were more like yours -- simple, unobtrusive, and FAST.

Tracking monster HP in D&D

Are use this app for all my nerd related stuff. Including keeping score for boardgames, Magic the Gathering and hit points for all my Dungeons and Dragons monsters. It's super useful how each one can be color-coded.

I just wish I could add numbers to the titles of the different teams. For example James #1 and James #2.

I also wish it wouldn't automatically sort the teams according to score. It would be nice if they just stayed still.

This will be great for your career, Matt!

Everyone actually reading this review, download and install this app on your phone right now! The author is awesome. I would pay money for this app. It does exactly what it needs to and you will be looking for any excuse to use it. Make Matt's dream of being a "real" developer one day come true. Do it! Hi, Matt! See, I told you that if you updated it I would give you 5 stars! You are on your way!
