iClip is the premier multiple clipboard & scrapbook tool that enables you to keep a history of almost anything you copy, instead of only the last thing.

iClip was designed to be accessed as simply as the Mac's Dock. Just move your cursor to the side of the screen and iClip pops out for instant use.

Get things into and out of iClip with hotkeys, drag & drop, or just 1-click.

Organize your stored clips into multiple sets and have them ready to paste in an instant.

Imagine having common email replies, logos and signatures, code-snippets, and more just a single click or keyboard shortcut away.

What's New

Version 5.2.5

• Copy & Paste works again with recent Word / Office versions.
• Clippings from iOS (via Handoff feature) are not automatically recorded any more.
• Handles huge texts in the clipboard better.
• When unchecking the Prefs option "Show iClip in the menu bar", the icon gets again removed from the menu bar as intended.
• Fixes Image and file copying with Evernote.
• Using the Copy command in an application, then quickly switching to another app, won't switch back to the previous app any more.
• Lists 1Password again in the Excluded Apps preferences. Also adds a Defaults button to reset the apps to iClip's suggestion.
• Undo now works on clippings modified by manually invoked scripts.
• Fixes various crashes (see "What's New" on the iClip website for details).

Note: This is still a 32 bit application. A 64 bit version should become available in the next few months. Keep an eye on the website's "Beta Preview" page if you're interested in helping with early testing.

My Favorite Clipboard Manager for 20 years

I have used Butler, FlyCut, PasteBot, ClipMenu, and a dozen other ones. This iClip software is my favorite one for its ease of use, visible bins, configurations abilities, apple script, and the list goes on. I have a terminal brain disease with severe memory loss. This app is my daily, all day, goto for new clips, customized storage bins, image captures, etc. The ease of use is very impressive to me as my brain disease makes it hard to learn new tasks. The icons are so intuitive, even my silly brain can easily understand what will happen with each click. The keyboard customization is awesome too. And I can even choose to keep the iClip bins visible at all times. Wow and Thank you is what I say to iClip Developers. Way to GO! OH! and I was so shocked when I select text within any app, and click the right arrow next to the empty bin, viola! No copy/paste needed. No copy needed. Selected text will go into the bin with a mouse click (or of course command c...)

Extremely Useful

If you find yoursself having to copy and paste a TON on your computer it is definetly worth your while to check out this app. I often have to go between websites and an excel sheet so having multiple copy/paste bins is a fantastic help. A few brief notes. It's worth mentioning that you can select different kinds of "paste" options. From direct paste, to "paste plain text from bin". The latter certainly helps especially when you are moving between data types. It's a little hidden however, you must click the down arrow to show more hotkey options to find it. My only complaint is that the program seems to have some glitches when using Word and the equations tool. It gets overloaded and everything can freeze. Oh, and be aware that you don't chose hotkeys that interrupt your workflow in other programs (ie photoshop/indesign) or things get weird. Other than that, this program works fantastically well!
