We've listened to your feedback and replaced the robotic voice with a real human recorded voice.
Luckily the English guy who painstakingly recorded all the words was prepared to work for tea, so we only require a modest sum in order to fund his Earl Grey habit.
Many thanks for all the great feedback over the last few months, please keep it coming.

A Marvelous App to Use!
There were many things I liked on this app. This app teaches new vocabulary, along with testing you that you know the words, and understand their definitions. This application almost felt like I was playing a educational game, instead of plain old learning. There were some disadvantages about this app. This app was flooded with apps. They distracted me from what I was really supposed to do in that application. I also didn't like that you either had to buy the extra vocabulary sections, or unlock them by completing the one before it. Compared to other vocabulary apps, it's okay, but can be a bit more frustrating with the ads flooding the entire screen. Overall, this application was pretty good, but had problems with ad placement and the amounts of ads.
Outstanding for the price
Most of the reviews that gave this app 3 stars or less seem to be comparing the free/$0.99 app to other more expensive apps. This is a great little app for improving vocabulary at various levels. It's not a professional app, but that's not necessarily what it was made for. No, the quiz section isn't multiple choice, which makes it more difficult and you have to know the definition in your own words and grade yourself. But to me that's ok - multiple choice doesn't really test your knowledge as much just asking a question (my opinion of course). Great app for the price.
Good but can be better
Ok. The app is great. It does its job. I would have liked to see more sentence examples under the usage to see different variety of how the words can be used. I can look up the words on line or in many dictionary apps so just showing the synonyms of a word doesn't separate this app from hundreds of app in the market. I also wish there would be a daily pop up on the screen for words so if I forget to go through the app, at lease that'd be a reminder. I like the visual and I would like to see different screens for different levels.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
