Poorly Thought Out
This visualizer plays music from your music library separate from the actual music app. There is no option to use or build playlists. there is no randomizer. Songs play in order by artist, song title or album title. Navigating your library causes the app to start any song your are viewing in the list without prompting, and when you exit the navigation, the song restarts. This would be a much better app if it integrated with the music app better, or if it were simply a visualizer that you could put on while you ran music in the background. Please update this app with better features, as the actual visualization is the best I have seen!
I like this app! Has potential to get better.
So right away I payed the 1.99 for ad free...A must! But worth it because the visuals are awesome and look good to what ever song is being played. Pretty cool to go to sleep to. You have to go into your settings and change your auto-lock to NEVER otherwise it will go dim at your 1,2,3,4,5 setting. Having issues with the song menu because it changes the song without touching the screen. Cool that it has radio stations to listen to as well as your itunes music. I would say that the visuals are better than itunes visuals.
Ads are obnoxious, 1.99 seems steep
The whole thing is of course an ad for the Beat Hazard game. Fair enough. But it's not a subtle one: popups at times cover 1/3 of the screen! And in addition, there are iAds that never go away. A short ad in the menu or on startup, not ever-present, would make the free option more inviting and less heavy-handed.
I'm not saying this should be given away, just being realistic: this isn't much good if you don't pay the US$1.99, and you get more for $2 elsewhere. Think of it as a demo to try and delete.
