This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Stress Check is the most innovative tool available to manage your emotional and physical stress level.
We use the same proven technology from Instant Heart Rate to detect your pulse and objectively quantify the effects of stress on your body.
★ Quantify your level of stress using heart data
★ Feel better and live longer with less stress!
★ See how you react to different stressors
★ Athletes: track recovery to increase performance
★ Follow your progress over time!
★ Personalized algorithm tailors to YOUR heart
★ More accurate with every measurement!
Everyone has experienced changes in heart rate before taking an exam, giving a public speech, or when exercising. Not only does your heart rate increase, but the amount of time between consecutive heart beats changes as well. By measuring heart rate variability (HRV) using your iPhone's built-in camera, you can estimate your level of stress in just two minutes wherever you are!
Top athletes across the globe are using HRV to track their fatigue and recovery to maximize performance. Whether you're a runner, biker, swimmer, or weightlifter, Stress Check will help you optimize your workouts day after day.
Stress Check utilizes a method of quantitative stress level assessment developed by Biocom Technologies, a well-known developer of various professional health assessment technologies. Our HRV algorithms follow recommendations of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE).

Will be a good app w/out all the bugs
Like other it just keeps recording the same number over and over on the timeline even though the bar is changing high and lower percentages. The changes in percentage seemed accurate as i tested in the evening with two diff scenarios and waking in the middle of night. The description hasn't changed but most likely has a large percentage range for low, high, and extreme(?) therefore making people think it's not changing. Or it could just be another bug. Also i'm assuming people are misunderstanding the term stress too ( the stress facts explain a little). Overall it has great potential but some fixes are needed.
Fun, Simple, Interesting and Useful
I've been using this app for a few days now out of pure curiosity. In the fast paced world we live in it seems easy to get lost and caught up in things that stress us out - which over time is unhealthy.
Stress test is a quick 2 min break that forces me to be more mindful about my stress level.
I usually take a reading first thing in the am, then again later in the day. Depending on what's going on in my day the Stress Test has proven pretty accurate.
I love how this app is using a personal interface with the touch of my finger and measuring my pulse!
Everything is really worked out except a few minor kinks. However, the instructional guideline that is written as it reads your pulse; would work a lot more if it was verbal. That way I'm only having to focus on the graphic pulse imagery.
Excited to see the next phase. This is a really cool and useful app.
