Plus you can sync your runs with Runkeeper and export them as GPX files.
SHARE RUNS WITH FRIENDS
With our new ZombieLink Social feature, you can keep tabs on how your friends are doing online, and also share your runs on Twitter and Facebook.
KEEP THE SURVIVORS ALIVE
You automatically collect items like medicine, batteries, and ammo while running - but when you’re back home, who needs them more: the soldiers or the doctors? Which buildings need extra defenses? It’s up to you - and the bigger your base, the more missions you can play.

I just discovered this app early this week. I want to do all my running through this app from now on. I love that you can select GPS mode, step counter, or constant speed so that the game is just as effective on a treadmill as it is on the road. This is great as it was what I was most skeptical about as I will split my running between road and treadmill. I also like that I can turn zombie chases off if I want a constant speed run without any interval training. I love that I can make a playlist for the missions from my own iTunes library. This game was really well done. I want to find better running trails nearby me now to better utilize the GPS feature as sprinting through pedestrians largely means dropping an item so that a horde of zombies doesn't eat you. Eventually I may buy all of the additional packs that go with it, especially the 5K run one as I'll be entering in a few this year. Pro tip: The workout version of Animals has a part of the chorus where it sounds like someone is screaming. It will scare a little adrenaline into you if you weren't expecting it. ;)
This app is simply amazing if you're going for a simple jog around the block or to practice for a marathon. I will admit, I do strongly dislike the new update, because it has made everything hard to navigate. Previously, you could hit two buttons and you could go on your merry way. Now you have to go to one screen and then click, wait for it to load, and then scroll then fix your settings then click again. It's a little too overly complicated for me, but that's just me. And I cannot for the life of me find the option for the accelerometer. I know it once existed, but I can't find it... It makes me extremely uncomfortable, however, those are simply two quirks. This game is great. The story is great. The atmosphere is great. And I will say, I would most likely not run almost every day if it weren't for the amazing story and characters which follow you.
You guys are awesome! Can't say enough about this - there are so many cool things to do on this game. This is so much fun to play- what a creative way to run! The coolest thing for me is that someone finally thought to create an option to make your own interval training and while running from Zombies no less. You are no longer stuck with someone's version of interval training (although your 5k program was the best one I've found yet). Here you can create your own run/walk program including when you run when you walk and for how long! This is awesome for a beginning runner like me. I fell in love with your 5k program and am new to this one (which I know has been out for sometime) - & this rocks! Thank you for such awesome updates and thank you for making an exercise fun!
