Wanted to like it, but it doesn’t work.
I had read other reviews about people being frustrated with the limits, but tried it anyway. I was looking for an app that allowed me to process cards by scanning the card instead of a separate card reader. On the plus side, the app is clear and easy to use, and the account was easy to set up. The problems started from the moment I tried to use it. I encountered trouble with literally every thing I tried to do with this app. I tried to run a card, and I got an error saying I had reached my limit, even though all I had done was a $1 test transaction. I tried to set up an online payment link, and my client got a vague error message saying the feature wasn’t available. So I tried their invoicing feature, but the client never received an invoice. I tried to contact customer service about each issue and received not a single response. Even the help instructions on their web site are not correct. I wish it worked as easy as it appeared before signing up, but unfortunately, they’ve got a lot of work to do on the back end before this app is workable.
I have been using Flint for almost two years and I am very happy with it. It is very simple to use and customer service has always been quick to respond and resolve whatever issue I may have had. They keep adding features that make the app even better and are receptive to suggestions from customers on how to improve the app. I have recommended it to many people and will continue to do so.
One thing I would like to see added is the ability to record the check number on the receipt for check transactions. I also would like to be able to do a partial refund,though customer service said they are working on this capability.
Very fraudulent company.
I had recently lost $250 through flint. Worked for about a month, and then they froze my transaction of $250 randomly and requested I verify some personal information. They said the transaction would go through once complete. Upon completion they said it would take 5 days to go through. After numerous times contacting them, 2 months later they had closed my account and reversed the transaction stating the operations department did not accept my information they requested, and closed it permanently without any notice or chance to follow up after weeks of trying to call their hotline which now doesn't exist. Company is fraudulent and will extort your money! Be cautious!
