Customer Reviews

Overall pretty great but...

There could definitely be improvements. The option to add more layers would be great, maybe even the ability to name them. Some of the brushes could use some tweaking as well. They don't exactly follow the stylus or tend to squiggle at certain parts, usually the end of the stroke. And the color picker is in a somewhat awkward position. Being able to select part of the drawing (which you can do) and then move around just that part would be Fantasia as well. Other than that, I have no other suggestions/complaints.

Edit:
I bought a Bluetooth enabled stylus (Walcom Intuits Creative one to be exact) and it crashed the moment I connected it and proceeds to crash every time I (try to) open the app. Please fix!!!

Couple bugs

This app is great, the lines are HD and lovely but... I wish it was easier to put a picture on a layer, zoom in and zoom out without creating random lines and a more traditional fill tool... However, its the bugs I have a problem with. Sometimes when I try to open certain pictures the app just closes, does the same thing when I try and save said picture. Sometimes it just deletes my bottom layer and I cant recover it. Other than that, for a free art app, its great.

it's just ok, but there's better

- brushes are unconvincing and feel more digital than natural
- cluttered interface. 90% of the time you're drawing, not switching between tools, so it's ok if the majority of the tools are hidden until you need them. Seeing all the tools in Inkist just covers up valuable screen real-estate
- not iPad Pro optimized, which would be forgivable if there weren't already other free apps that do much better job that are already optimized
- buggy. try pinching in the layer area
- only 3 layers?
