I can’t repost pictures anymore

I have couple of issues with this app, I received an updated for the this app and believe this app was giving ability for other people to use this app with the iPhone X, but I’m using my iPhone 6. I gave my consent to update this app (which I see now was bad idea) when I was going to repost a video and picture, I would open this app and see some sort a request post. Whenever I want to repost a video or picture this post “grand_hotel_slavia” would keep popping up on the this app and not my choice of videos/pictures that I want to post on instagram. The other things is I can’t post any pictures, when I tap on the my choice of a picture I want to post, at the top of the screen it keeps saying “something went wrong” and I’ve tried everything. I’ve copied the links of pictures on other accounts on instagram, I’ve even tried deleting this app and putting it back on my phone. I don’t know if this I’m being hacked or do some people have to have other person’s permission to repost a certain picture, but all I can do is repost videos. I don’t know what’s happening to this app, I’ve never had these issues before, but I just want it to be fixed.

The comment above mine ...

I am glad that the user of your app is very happy with it, and I agree that you should sometimes pay the extra money to get what you want. But ... I thought that it was pretty much an “etiquette” rule for Instagram, that you are supposed to give credit to the person who originally posted it ... the one who actually “owns” the picture. Because, if you don’t give credit where credit is due, it’s like you’re taking credit for the taking of the picture! That’s really not a good practice, I’ll tell you why ... the owner of the original photo, will eventually find out! I think you should give credit to who deserves it, and then you can take and post your own photos and then you will take credit for those! Does that sound right to you? 🙂🌸😀🌺🦋 PS. It’s actually called “plagiarism” when you take credit for someone else’s work! That’s illegal ... just a FYI ... 😌

Who in the world is Hotel Grand Salvia, and why do they keep showing up as my copied link?

I’ve used this particular re-posting app for several years, and until recently I’ve been able to use it without any problems. Today, however, I’ve experienced a persistent issue for which there appears to be no fix. At first, when I would open up the app (after copying the link from Instagram), it would simply say “Something went wrong” in a red banner across the top. After several attempts, I deleted and then re-installed the app.

Now, no matter what link I copy from my IG account, when I open up Repost the only link available is for Hotel Grand Salvia, a place I’ve never heard of, much less selected for reproduction. And no matter how many times I delete this randomly queued link, it continues to reappear. Deleting and re-installing the app doesn’t work, either.

It’s too bad, because otherwise this app would’ve been perfect. Oh well. It had a good run.
