What's New in Version 2.1.2
Bug fixes and other improvements to game performance
Assuming that you played the first game, you won't be disappointed in this one. At first, there's a decent amount of change to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's actually deeper than its predecessor. The addition of new characters is fun at first, but you soon realize that neither the Kunoichi, nor the Ronin can even come close to the classic Samurai. Every nine levels or so, you'll be required to use a specific character. Also, you'll eventually discover that there are a few people online who essentially spent their way to very early success. The upgrade system is completely broken, with upgrades (most notably, health) for the (already superior) Samurai MUCH, MUCH cheaper than either of his counterparts. There are two other characters you can purchase, but each costs $55 (real world dollars), so, obviously, I haven't tried either. As long as you don't mind spending days attempting Ronin levels, this is a pretty good way to kill time.
Overall, I enjoy the game very much, with the Level challenging Difficulty, the challenges themselves, and the multiplayer world. Just one thing though, the Multiplayer section of the game has a few bugs. To start off with, whenever you defeat a player, sometimes enemy forces will just randomly come in or barely come onto the battlefield. This concerns me that the creators and Devs put lazy effort into the multiplayer section. 5/10. Anyway, I'm assuming whenever forces come in, The player used a Revive, but I don't see the player rising up or moving at all. Just sitting there, Defeated. I am also assuming a Pathetic difficulty AI takes the players place. Please, Devs, put some more effort into the Multiplayer. You can do better than that.
Samurai v. Zombie D2
On gameplay, loading time, and graphics, this game rates excellent. Constantly providing a good balance between challenging and enjoyable levels. All of the playable characters offer different styles of fighting but you are able to call upon shared additions and upgrades. There are, however, persistent issues with the multiplayer feature: loading can freeze the game or take too long, and the cost of going through each reward bracket makes it almost pointless to use. Other than that, this game is easily one of my new Top 5 games and I look forward to additional versions
