Ratings and Reviews
I wanted an app to easily track my individual plants with photos and notes. This is the best app I have found for that, and I've tried almost all of the others. In my opinion 2 things would make it perfect: (1) The biggest improvement would be adding the ability to change the cropping of the photo, and/or use a horizontal or vertical pic instead of forcing the square crop; (2) The ability to group plants into different garden categories would be nice. Otherwise this app has a slick interface, is very intuitive, works without crashing, and is generally very helpful and one of my most-used apps!
Promising, but same complaint as other reviewers...
...app shouldn't require user to restart app after taking just a few pictures. I'm using a 6 plus running 8.1.3. Fix that huge problem (the source of your lower-than-expected ratings), and I'll give you 5 stars, as will most of your other reviewers 'cuz it's otherwise a great app. As a bonus, you could add the ability to set alarms for future tasks (maybe a simple export to iCal), so one doesn't have to leave app to schedule a reminder.
I really want to like this app and I generally do. My main problem is that I have to shut down and restart app entirely between every picture. After I take and it accepts a picture for a plant the camera, check and add and entry icons along the top are simply gone. It would be much faster if I didn't have to shut down between each picture since I have a lot of plants. Can somebody please fix this? This app was not free, this is the kind of thing I'd accept from a free app but not for $2.99.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
