Controls are sluggish
I found the arm computer thing and alien vibe an interesting concept, but I struggled with the controls while trying to get away from the aliens and got stuck early on, having to redo the same section over and over. If I was aggressive in defending myself, the gun failed to load fast enough. If I ran away, the controls were too slow, forcing me to casually walk away from certain death, and the aliens or the ship would inevitably eat me as I strolled into something unseen in the next room. After repeating this exercise a few times, I gave up as apparently this was the only way forward and I couldn't do it. Too bad, because it looked interesting to play.
Very frustrating controls and camera system
I agree with the review by positiveminds. This seemed like a potentially interesting game, but for me the controls and camera system make it pretty much unplayable. When trying to run away from the first alien at the very beginning of the game, it's pretty much impossible to tell which way to go. The camera switches position on its own and you have no clue which way you're running. Meanwhile, shooting the alien doesn't seem to be doing any good and I kept dying repeatedly until I finally gave up.
Also, I'm not sure if this game (apparently the first in a series?) has been abandoned on iOS? The News section of the game inexplicably seems to pertain exclusively to the Steam version of the game.
Was engaging and entertaining, for a VERY short time..... Glad I waited till it went down to .99 before I bought... You upgrade things u don't even use ,, senseless. Controls are a bit difficult. The abrupt end of this 1st episode was a big disappointment. Better hurry up with Episode 2 to keep the few that are still interested coming back ,, and better make it .99 to compensate for the disappointment of the 1st episode.
Update: May 2015
Wow,,,, "Developer Website" is no longer available for this game.
SO much hype before this game launched,, then turned out to be disappointingly short,,, and now,?,?, no updates for more than a year, no website, no nothing... AND Yall still have in app purchases ?!?!?!? Geez guys come on,,,,, such disappointment ...
