Good but could be better
The game is good. Only bad thing I can say is that it crashes 9/10 times I try to fight Zazz or Eggman. By the way, I think there shouldn't be a spring that leads to the boss. The boss should enter at complete random while you are running. Still with the same fighting format but with dodging the enemies while the totem poles and trees drain its health bar, ending with the triple kick at the spring. Perfect Chaos should also be a boss in this game, since it would make a lot of sense due to all the water. He scatters water tornados that you need to dodge, and he will shoot laser spheres at you. Perfect Chaos should be embodied at the spring, requiring a dash to vanquish him and advance to the next area. Not dashing into him sends you back to the beginning of the track. On another note, They should also give all characters the ability to turn into super form. There should be an event where we must collect all seven chaos emeralds. If the player has 50 or more rings, they have a chance of finding a chaos spring that leads to a chaos emerald. Collecting all seven unlocks super form for all characters, and they auto transform if they hit any spring(excluding the bank spring) with 50 or more rings. Of course, this idea could also sync up to Perfect Chaos. Either the Perfect Chaos boss is unlocked with the super forms, or Chaos will be a temporary boss for the event, requiring us to fight each of it's forms to acquire a chaos emerald.
Here we go again.
I really love this app, but there's STILL practically only one stage. The boss fights are cool, but would be even cooler if you could put them in the appropriate environment. I would personally like to see newer stages like Gigan Rocks, Tropical Resort, Night Palace, Lost Prologue, Sky Road, Misty Lake and Planet Wisp, along with older stages like Final Chase/Rush, Final Fortress, Pyramid Cave, Speed Highway, Stardust Speedway and Grand Metropolis. Even stages based on real life, like Adabat (Japan), Apotos (Greece), Spagonia (Britain/Great Britain), Holoska (Alaska), Chun-an (Me: China. Meiling: IT'S HONG MEILING! Me: I wasn't talking about YOU, Meiling! Meiling: Oh. Carry on.)Would be cool. Or even crossover stages, like Mario Stages, Zelda Dungeons, Super Smash Bros. stages. I would also like to see Espio, E-123Ω, Cream, Scourge, Fiona, Silver, Mecha and Metal Sonic, Shade (Because we NEVER SEE HER ANYMORE.), Blaze, Sally Acorn, The Babylon Rogues and the glitch characters, Ashura and White Knuckles. Plus, each character should have their own abilities and animations instead of being (basically) Sonic clones. I would also like to see new items, like Speed Shoes, Invincibility, a (magnet) shield that is permanent (Until you get hit or die like in the other Sonic games.), and power ups like in Sonic Adventure/2/DX/Battle/HD. Again. Maybe we could include rival races in the game.
This is a really good game, to be honest. Even if it is like a 'certain other game'. But, this game isn't perfect either. My complaints are nearly nitpicks, and don't have to be noticed, but it'd be nice if they were taken care of.
- Even though there are only two bosses, which is fine, they have no variety. They're the same exact thing, except different character models. Maybe make Eggman a bit harder? It seems as if he was intended to be more difficult, because of the bigger bonus points for defeating him, rather than Zazz.
- I like the addition of multiple characters, but I don't see that much of a difference in them. Like the bosses, they appear to all work the same. In my opinion it just doesn't seen worth the Red Rings.
That's the thing. The keyword for this game is 'Variety'. Although I strongly believe the dev's are working on this already, it just seems like it needs to be taken care of. Make a variety of difference in bosses and characters.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great game. It's just maybe a few things need to be changed around in my opinion, but they don't have to be. I feel like anybody who likes the Sonic franchise, or 'that certain other game' should give this a try. You won't be disappointed. :)
