Deer Hunter- Exceptional
I downloaded this intriguing game roughly seven months ago. I have been enthralled with it ever since. The graphics, while not the best with kinetic landscape objects such as dust or running water, still create picturesque scenes, regardless, not to mention the animation of the animals, which are anatomically correct. I enjoy the soundtrack of this game, as well. It's not monotonous, and yet it is the same two or three songs being rotated over and over. As a musician, I have to say that that's impressive, and that the audio, (not just the music but the sound effects as well), are pleasing to the ear. Also, visually, there is not too much gore, but the idea of hunting is still plain to the eye. There is a vast plethora of weapons to use, and each is eligible for numerous upgrades, which I find satisfying, as you can constantly progress towards a goal. Navigation through the menus of the game can get a bit tricky, but one can easily master the know-how after a few times playing it. Overall, this game is expertly crafted by what, in my opinion, are brilliant designers. It takes the boring only-one-animal-and-one-gun stereotype and blows it away with its innumerable amount of fascinating animals to track down, array of weapons from assault rifles to shotguns to bows, and it's beautifully designed scenery that keeps a players attention. Not to mention, it's free. I would highly recommend this addictive game to any person looking in this genre. Well done.
I still like this game and play it almost every day for maybe 10 minutes. It’s perfect if you have a few minutes to kill. It actually gets updated pretty frequently too unlike most every other game I’ve ever played. I would like to make one request though. Can you please add an option to move the reload button maybe a little higher than the fire button? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidently reloaded my gun when I meant to fire it. My only major complaint is the lack of ability to save your game or restore any purchases you made. I had to reinstall this game awhile back when I got a new phone and lost everything. I’m not sure why this game only saves your progress and any purchases you made locally on your device, especially considering the fact that a lot of the guns cost quite a lot of real money. But at least you don’t need any of them (except the contest ones) to complete any of the goals in the game. Those guns just make things easier.
Love game but......
I love this game. Graphics are great and the missions are decently challenging. However, I have a huge problem with the game play. More specifically the EVENTS!!!!! You can't play them unless you are willing to spend an obscene amount of real money on the game. After the first two missions you are forced to either quit or purchase a weapon with enough power for the next mission. Now you may have an adequate weapon in your arsenal, probably even ones far better than the mission requirements but alas, you cannot use them. You must buy the specific weapon. Now of course said weapon can ONLY be bought with gold. A difficult currency to earn and even harder to maintain. You don't have enough so you have the option to buy enough or give up. You choose to buy it. Now you have to spend $50 of real money just to get enough gold to buy it because the game charges outrageous amounts for little in game currency. You buy the weapon but now you have to upgrade it spending your game cash to do so. Ok, now you can play again. Oh no.... 3 more missions and it's time to repeat the cycle again. It's bull sh*t. Not everyone can afford to spend obscene amounts of money just to enjoy the game. It's not fair.
