Never had to trial any others
....Personally, I only have two discrepancies. At times, when fatigue has sinked it's teeth in me, I can be very forgetful about starting the program. If I had the capability to "set" a time for the App to automatically turn itself on, this option would be real helpful......for me. Also, being that I can be a restless sleeper, I can sometimes knock my phone off the bed because of its location......maybe some type of small wearable, Bluetooth device can fix this problem for people such as myself.??
Other than that, I really do love how this app is designed to work. The recording feature that only records when needed, has been probably the most interesting/helpful feature in figuring out the type of sleep I've been getting. After continue use, I was able to gather the "common disruptions" I was having and was able to adjust. I hardly get sleep as it is, so anything that will help promote better sleep.....I'm all for it.!
I love this app and have learned quite a bit about my sleep patterns with it. Since the last update I have been having a rather annoying issue. The issue I am having is when I turn on the alarm it tells me the volume is too low and my alarm may not sound in the morning. This alert pops up even if the volume on my phone and my ringer is turned all the way up. It makes me nervous that the alarm won't go off so I have set up a backup alarm. Please fix this!
****New issue*** The app is now using over 2GB of the storage on my phone. I have deleted all my saved nights along with the sounds recorded leaving the app completely empty of any information. Unfortunately the app is still using over 2GB of my storage and I will most likely be forced to delete it. I absolutely love this app but it is now forcing me to delete everything else on my phone in order to continue to use it.
Measures sleep, movement and sounds
Like the features that allow me to see how often I move in my sleep, and if I stir in my sleep, it allows me to tell if extraneous noise was cause of wake up. Sound recorder picks up sounds from 20-30 feet away. If I wake up to pee, it picks up all the sounds I make to and fro.
I hear myself groaning every time I change positions and informs me of a lot of sound and movement events that occur during my sleep time. Very accurate. I look forward to reviewing the sound bytes in my sleep when I'm awake and drinking my morning coffee. Nice app that I have recommended to my clients who are having sleep problems. Can be helpful for people who may have sleep apnea and don't realize it.
