Pretty good app but could be better
I was browsing a couple of different apps when I came across this one. I love that it connects with my fit bit but the main reason I was looking for a food app was to make cooking and meal prepping easier. And this honestly made it harder. 1 it has me cooking like all day and different foods all day. Like haven't you heard of left overs? And yet when you cook the recipes have more then 1 serving. And then there's no grocery list. You're better off with Mealime. And it's free!
Honestly if they JUST added the grocery list I'd give it 5 stars but for $40 it's not really worth it. And the free part you can get from any other app so it's not really any different from the Fitbit app I was using before.
Longtime user, now lost
Very upset with the app change today. I have relied upon and recommended this app for years. I utilize it multiple times a day to keep track of my daily caloric intake for weight loss and weight maintenance. This morning’s update eliminated those features. I can still input the foods I eat (although the new format makes it difficult) but it’s not giving me an accurate calorie count and it’s not comparing it to my daily maximum goal at all anymore. Messed up my whole day... looks like I’m going to have to find a different app to track my meals. What a shame. 3 years of eating and logging and 50lbs down partially thank you to yesterday’s version of this app. Now lost. It’s been a day of mourning for me. Now I’m hungry and I don’t know if I can have 50 more calories of 300 more calories for the day.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We have recently launched a new and simplified app that will allow us to focus more on food logging, and will offer more information about the nutritional content of your food. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding these changes. Please contact us at email@example.com
Talk to Pump a Stretch for Medtronic
So this really doesn’t talk to an insulin pump if you use Medtronic. Possibly using Dexcom and Animas, but I can’t speak to that. Without that functionality, this app is somewhat limited. It appears to be a good log, but the LoseIt app appears to have a far superior food database. However, this app does have huge promise and seems to work well. It can track insulin, interface with Carelink, track food, is compatible with Apple Health Kit, etc.

Hi there, thanks for writing. Once you've connected your CareLink account to Nutrino, you're supposed to get insulin data from your pump. If this does not work, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to make sure you get the best experience with Nutrino. Thank you, we appreciate your patience. Best, Nutrino
