I've spent many hours playing (and replaying) Supermarket Management 1 and was thrilled to see a sequel. I've now just finished the sequel, and the best that I can give it is 4 stars.
It lost an entire star for the fish counter. Annoying as all get-out. Sometimes swiping would work OK, others it wouldn't work at all or there'd be enough of a lag that the wrong fish would be selected. And on many levels you won't make Expert if you miss a fish or two, so that meant restarting the level. Here's where I'll mention that the levels load *slowly*... so slowly that I kept a pattern book at my side to browse through while I waited. Also annoying. And on the achievements front, how could I have the 100, 500 and 1000 customers served trophy, but not the 300 served trophy? Isn't 300 < 500?
Ah, well. I enjoyed the game, but not as much as the first one. I'd up my rating if there was a fish counter assistant (instead of a cake or deli one). Some thought was put into the game, but the fish took the fun out of it for me. I'll go back to Supermarket Management 1 and really enjoy myself.
One of the best TM games
Love this game. Much improved over Supermarket Management 1. 3 things I wish we're different:
1. Loading time between levels is too long, especially because there are 2 loading periods for each level: the upgrade, and the actual level.
2. Game is not always responsive on 1st tap. There is a lag at times, especially on the cake maker. Sometimes I have to tap twice, but then other times when I tap more than once I automatically fail the cake decorating.
3. Change the cake station challenge. It can be difficult to time correctly, and if you miss one cake decorating you can mess up the whole level and have to repeat it. Very frustrating.
Otherwise, this is one of my favorite time management games. Graphics are wonderful, game is fast paced and challenging. Well done!
Very addicting but frustrating
I loved the 1st game so i decided to get this one. I was very pleased with the changes they made but i agree with the other reviews of the glitches. It cut me off in the middle of my game once, there was a delay in the cutting of the meat and catching the fish was the most frustrating. I'm not sure if it was a glitch or they programmed it that way so it would be more difficult for the player to reach expert goal. If that is the case, then its just pathetic on their part. Also, 49 levels is not enough. I would prefer about 70 levels. Having said that, i would still very much like a sequel since i enjoyed the game a lot. If they could fix the glitches and add more levels to it i would easily give this game 5 stars.
