In the list of updates, under what's new, it says, Sorry for recent bug and issues. "We've made all of our additional alarm sounds free as a token of our appreciation for your patience :)"
When you go into the app description, it doesn't say that, because IT'S NOT TRUE! All of the additional alarm sounds are still in packs that cost money. What a disappointment.
Otherwise I like the app. Its extra features help me get up in the morning when a regular alarm might not.
Update: I was wrong. I wrote that over a year ago. I use the alarm five days a week, but never go into settings to look and see if there's anything new. I just now did and found that all of the alarm sounds are free for me. I downloaded and have them all now. One thing confuses me though: under "more alarms" it says +8 Alarms, twice. Where and what are these additional 16 alarms?
Also, my first choice would not be an alarm volume that starts low and gradually increases. So I plug my iPod into a small speaker, and the volume is enough to wake me up. Great app overall.

This has been waking me up for years

This app is seriously amazing. I honestly don't think anything else could wake me up at this point. I use the shake setting (usually on medium) and it gets me moving just enough for me to wake up. (While very hard honestly gives me an arm workout first thing in the morning) I only actually like one of the default alarm tones but it's definitely worth it. Full disclosure though- it has only worked for me when I leave the app open overnight and sometimes I run the risk of waking others up since the alarm keeps escalating until you're done shaking unless you hold down your volume button. Additionally I wish that the night mode was more flexible (that you could set alarm times on that setting) Overall- wonderful app though.
