Place tiles which have a number of pips that matches one of the exposed ends of the chain. If you have no such tiles you have to draw from the boneyard one tile at a time until new one may be played.
After placement player will get points if the sum of pips at the exposed ends of the chain is a multiple of five (5,10,15,20,etc).
At the end of the round player also scores points for all the pips remaining in the opponent's hand rounded to the nearest multiple of five.
Winner is the first player who reach the score of 150 points.

I LOVE to play dominos! This game has the best graphics of any dominos game I've seen. But when your opponent begins the hand he/she almost ALWAYS win that hand. I suppose the algorithm is rigged so that if you play ten hands, the iPad (or iPhone) will win 9 of them. It deduces that you have to win occasionally or you will stop playing. 99% of the hands, if I have 2 or 3 dominos left and the computer has one, she will miraculously have the exact number of dots which are needed to go out. There may be 15 dominos in the bone pile, and after counting, I see that there is one more trey left (which is what she needs) and all the other dominos showing on the table are played out. Guess what? Tan Dah! She lays the last trey. Come on, developers! Make it more real, like live play. This so obviously rigged. Disappointing. I really like all the games by DoraLogic that I have. Too bad you were lazy on programming this one.
Pretty close to perfect
I downloaded this to replace another dominoes game that was having too many glitches. In the case of the other game, it would play advertisements between hands. I don’t have a problem with that in itself, they have to make money somehow. But there was something wrong with the advertisement function and it started crashing nearly every time.
In the case of this game, I have yet to get an ad. I like that. Also, I like the fact that I can change the amount of starting tiles. Would be nice if they added (easily visible) a screen showing how many points one side or the other gets after each set. Otherwise all in all an excellent choice.
Good game, realistic, moves fast, fun!
I also must correct a review I made earlier. I said that sometimes the app does not add the ends correctly. Well my error! I discovered that one of the grandkids turned on the “count the double” block and thus the app now counts the first double plus’s the ends. Sorry for the mistake programmers. My error!
But the app still does not declare a winner If the winner results from a draw. The next hand must start and the first stone is played. Then the app declares a winner. This is only a nascence. Not a problem. Great game!! 5 stars. 👏👏👏👏😃😃
