This drawing app is certainly the best I've ever used and though it offers great in-app purchases, the free download is fully-functional and includes all the tools one needs to draw a nice picture and save it (to computer/camera roll) or share via social media as well as the option to have the app auto-save your drawings while you work (ex every 3 mins) and organize your drawings within the app (great for someone like me who has very many and enjoys not having to keep track of them elsewhere). I use it constantly, I love its precise ness and the undo/redo (2-finger swipe left/right) actions which are very convenient, (no buttons taking up screen space that are so easy to accidentally click on). The team clearly put time and effort into this program. I highly recommend.
By far, this is the best drawing app that I have tried on iOS, a simple interface , wide range of color choices, offers a free light version, etc. HOWEVER, it also has quite a few flaws when it comes to navigation. In the instruction page that first pops up when you open the app, there are gestures to undo, redo, and save works. Though once I tried to use those on-screen gestures (such as pinch, swipe, and double tap), I received what seemed to be an error message. Along with the misleading gestures, there was also the issue of the notification bar making an unnecessary number of guest appearances in my drawings (is there a feature to disable that?). Overall, it's a good app for those just starting out with digital drawing, but (in my opinion) could use a little bit of tweaking to make it easier to navigate.
great app but you must buy it for $5
This app is great, it has a lot of great brushes and features but i cant give it a full five stars because the price is misleading. It is not free. In order to do even the most simple things like "undo" and change brush sizes you have to upgrade to pro. Imagine not being able to undo when drawing. For example, you are drawing a face and accidentally switch to the wrong color. There is now a big blue spot on the face and you cant undo so you have to scrap the painting. Using the free version of this app is pointless. There are a lot of micro-transactions available. in order to get what you need out of the app you will need to spend $5. That isnt bad and the app is pretty good so i give it 4 stars and say it is worth a try.
