Attach or stick Tile devices to anything you don’t want to lose and use the app to ring your stuff when you’re within Bluetooth range. With Tile Slim and Tile Mate you can pick from one of four unique ringtones.

Can't find your phone? Press any one of your Tile devices to make your lost phone ring —even if it's on silent.
*See where you had it last.
Keep the app running in the background and it will automatically record the last time and place it saw your item on a map. So, if you left it somewhere, you know where to look first.

Still can't find your Tiled item? Our “Notify When Found” feature puts every device running the Tile app on the lookout for your lost stuff. If anyone comes within Bluetooth range of your Tile, we'll let you know where it is. This feature is 100% private, so no one knows you're looking for a lost item but you.

Our app turns any phone or tablet into a virtual Tile. Simply download the app on all of your devices — and use the app on one to find the other. It's cross-platform, so no need to choose favorites.
Notes:
* The app utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your Tiles. The maximum range is 100 ft.
* The app utilizes Location Services to record the last known location of your Tiles, based on your phone’s geo-location data.
* Continued use of GPS or Bluetooth running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Revising found keys
Yes they were hard to find. But only because they were mixed in with disposed items in a bin in my garage. I had been painting and that's where they wound up. But once they rang and I was finally in right area, I heard a faint sound coming from the bin. It took all day to find them. I had given up on them. So anyhow yes it helped. I just wish it had been easier to find, like dial number, they answer and tell you exact location or even a picture of where they are.
But it has some bugs in it. It's connecting the stolen phone that has never been recovered with my current phone at my address, only it's not, and wish it would pinpoint where thief is and keep ringing until thief gives it back. Instead it erroneously thinks my current phone is the old phone. Wish there was a way to remotely text and turn on stolen phone and then get it back. I still keep trying to get it back, but nothing is getting it back.
One crippling flaw makes it unusable
The app does what it's supposed to, and does it well--you can track your own Tiles, and it also (anonymously) helps other people find their missing Tiles, if you have the app running in the background.
HOWEVER: If you double-click your Tile (easy to do accidentally, like if it's on a keyring in your pocket), and the app is running in the background, your phone will play a loud tune--even if the phone is in silent or do-not-disturb mode. There's no way to disable this "feature", short of logging out of the app (which prevents it from updating the location of your own or others' Tiles). Even if you force-kill the app, it'll still make this noise. I finally had to remove my Tile after my went off once in church and once at the movies.
This severely limits the usefulness of the app, at least if you're sometimes in situations where you don't want your phone playing a loud tune (like the movies). So as long as this "feature" can't be disabled, you need to think twice before you use this app.
Great Product Over all!
I do not quite agree with other people's comments about this product going off accidentally. I have one Tile on my key chain, one in my wallet, and I gave two others to my friends and not one of us has had any problem with it. These are a great product for when you lose things in plain sight. I understand there are some concern over the "reTile" program? But in all honesty, it just depends on how you look at it. You get the to replace your old tile for a new one at $15 dollars? That's like just $1.25 a month for a tile. This product is amazing and will continue to keep using it.
