Featured by Apple in the App Store Best of 2013!

Get a complete full body workout in just 7 minutes! Based on the "Scientific 7 Minute Workout" originally published in ACSM's Health and Fitness Journal and seen in the NY Times, but improved upon by the expert trainers at lolo.

One size does not fit all so we took the principles of this fast and effective workout and tuned it so it could fit anyone's needs. Some people may find the original 7 Minute Workout too hard while others may find it too boring. We fine tuned this workout so anyone can get a safe, effective, and challenging workout, no matter their fitness level in just 7 minutes!

Every workout will be customized to your fitness level and to the equipment you have available. Each exercise includes a video you can view DURING YOUR WORKOUT, so that you can always double-check your form.

• Get a complete full body workout in just 7 minutes!
• 3 skill levels designed for Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced exercisers.
• Includes 200 unique exercises. Each one includes video, coaching points and audio guidance.
• Works anywhere! With over 100 bodyweight exercises, you can get a complete full body workout no matter where you are.
• lolo's beat-sync technology perfectly matches the tempo of your music to your workout.
• Completely interactive. Swap out exercises to personalize your workouts. Increase or decreases the intensity at anytime and your trainer and your music will respond!

7 Minute Workout dynamically changes the beat of YOUR music to perfectly match your movements. Research shows that music distracts the brain during exercise and faster music causes people to accept and even prefer a greater degree of effort. This means you will work harder without trying (or without even feeling the difference), you will get better results from the increased effort, and most importantly, the time will fly by.

lolo Connect allows you to save your fitness results to the cloud, track your progress across lolo apps, and share your success with friends and family through social media.

7 Minute Workout features an interactive personal trainer whose voice guides you through each workout, giving you the tips you need to get the most out of your workout and the motivation to keep going no matter how tough it gets. Plus you have complete control as you move through your workout. Turn the intensity down a bit when you're struggling or crank it up when you're ready for more, and your trainer adjusts your workout - and your music - on the fly.

Wish there were more options for bad knees

I got this app about three or four months ago. At first I absolutely loved it. I love the variety that there is. I love that I can do pretty much anything for just 30 seconds and I feel like I'm getting a really great work out in just a short period of time. There are two things, however, that just do not work out for me very well. One is I have bad knees and with the workouts having two sets of lunges and there not being any alternate exercises other than lunges, I often find myself just having to skip out on those exercises. I don't understand why they can't have an alternate exercise for a lunge.

The other thing that I wish that they had different is when you go to the more advanced exercises I wish that you could also look at some of the lower level exercises. The reason for this is that I feel like I am advanced in my arms but not so much in say my legs. So I wish there was more flexibility in that aspect and more ability to customize.

I love everything except that it resets the routine in exit

I've just started trying the seven minute exercise routine, and I found this app extremely helpful. I like the broad variety of exercises it has, as well as the option of exchanging exercises on a particular day, defining what equipment I have available, changing the intensity of the workout on the fly, adding an adaptive playlist, etc. I also appreciate the little demo videos of the exercises. Having it guide me through the routine is also great, and I like that I can (but don't have to) log reps for each exercise. I feel like I'm getting a good workout each time (I'm certainly breathing hard by the end & feeling it the rest of the day).
However, the fact that it completely resets the day's routine anytime you exit the app (e.g., exit to home screen, turn off the phone, phone sleeps on its own). Fix that and I'll be a happy camper.

Looses today's workout during sleep or background

First off-this still is the only app that offers variation to what should be easily defined cardio and muscle groups.

1st Star dropped because the app will completely duck the sound of anything in the background-it won't bounce back up between instructions.

Here's my beef: maybe it's just the 7-minute workout to begin with, but lots of the substitutes seem to hit the same muscles over and again, rather than move on, and furthermore I sense there's a slight bias to target the "problem" areas that many women get obsessed with-thighs, butt-rather than rounding out the areas that an obsessed male might want to target-belly, shoulders/back, etc.

I do think its possible to find a broader interpretation of the variations that would really count rather than lunges and squats filling up all the odd exercises, for example. Advanced moves could be more compound exercises-like the lunge with twist, etc, and frankly the advanced moves aren't particularly advanced.

And I find it annoying that my workout doesn't stay intact, even if I advance it to the start screen. Sure, I stated in set-up which equipment that I have and don't have, but who's to say that I'm working out with all my equipment surrounding me-it's typically stowed away. And for every time I walk back there or adjust the exercises in the app, then say change my music playlist, I don't want to then return to the app to find that the workout changed again.
