Easily the best messaging platform ever
Hey guys. I never leave reviews so I felt compelled to write this one. I've always considered myself an iMessage snob where I wouldn't wanna use anything but iMessage. Even what's app was an issue for me. A friend of mine recently convinced us to join telegram and it was crazy how good it was. The interface was smoother, custom stickers, amazing voice quality on voice messages, and now video messages? Dude you guys are awesome. All other messaging platforms are behind in comparison to telegram. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what comes next.
The best messaging app
I gave it 4 stars because it's indeed a great messaging app, but as a content creator and podcaster, I don't see the "viral" feature on Telegram. There should be a discover tab(fully categorized based on users' preferences) in the app so that channels could benefit from their posts going viral.
In addition to that, channels don't have the ability to categorize their posts which is ridiculous. Each time that you post, you have to use hashtags which is ugly and not very helpful because members need to be familiar with all the hashtags that you frequently use which kills the whole purpose of categorizing posts.
Almost Perfect
Telegram continues to impress. It is lightweight, stable and work with even the slowest connections and has a great UI.
Calls are not as good as in Signal. They say it's going to improve due to A.I. but I don't know if that's correct. At least it is more reliable to connect but less private since Telegram doesn't relay calls.
What Telegram should do to be better is to have end-to-end encryption by default! Having to open a new chat is cumbersome.
