And most importantly, you’ll have more fun with your fitness activities!
What's New in Version 2.11.1
• Fixed critical bug accidentally introduced in 2.11 that caused crash during launch on certain iOS 8 devices. - Really sorry about that!
Best app for tracking any activity
Been using this app for the past year for all outdoor activities: hiking, biking, paddling. Have found it to be easy and accurate. Love that it is just what it is -- with no social media. The photo option works great too. Love this app.
really, really well designed app for just about any activity!
Routie is excellent! It's obvious a lot of work went into creating it as there are a feast of features, all clearly accessible and easy to use, but you can also disable anything you don't want/need. So, it's as comprehensive or as simple a tracking app as you'll find. Maps are clear and easy to read when on the move, plus have great details like foot trails in recreation areas and coastal shoreline landmarks. You can save a plethora of information about each track you create. Works with other devices (Watch, Pebble, heart rate monitors), integrates with Apple's Health, provides audible feedback (speed, time, distance, even altituded if device is capable) during session if you want. Good stuff!
Great activity tracker
Things that make this app stand out against other activity trackers:
1. Import photos taken from the camera app (think lockscreen) and integrate them directly into the route map.
2. Scroll through the graphs as it relates to the map so you can see where on the route you slowed down or sped up or the elevation was the lowest.
3. Quick start and quick stop with practically automatic sharing. Two clicks and it's on Facebook and/or Twitter.
4. The sharing is actually really neat. Routie uploads your track with map and details to a website with the pictures you took along the way. Oh and the pictures are pinned on the map to where you took them.
