Customer Reviews

worst app i have ever used

Every time I try to start the app, it crashes after waiting for a few minutes. I start it again and maybe show shows will appear. Here's the problem: I live in St. Louis, pay for fox sports, but I have NEVER been able to watch a blues or cardinals game using the fox sports go app. For example, the cardinals are playing right now (wednesday april 8) but the only shows that are showing up on FS midwest in the FS Go app is a college basketball show at 8 pm on Thursday April 9. When I have watched boxing using the app, it only takes a few minutes of watching before the app crashes. I just use my uverse app to watch things on FS1 but I'm screwed if I want to watch something on FS midwest on my ipad. and I can't watch FS midwest on my uverse app for some reason.. probably because FOX wants me to use their terrible app. Until this app gets fixed I will not be using it. This app is currently unusable.

Love this app!

I was very surprised to see a lot of poor reviews. I wonder if it is related to the cable provider because I love this app! I have Comcast X Finity and it works great. Last night I went to a friends house who does not have FS1 channel but I do, so we watched ufc on his TV
through my phone and it was perfect. No freezing and very clear. I am very impressed with this app. I am not sure how the "location always on" works but it does not seem to track until you open the app so it's not using my battery etc when app is closed. Love this app!

Location services "always" on

As soon as I opened the app and found out that location services had to be set to always on, I closed the app, came here to write this review and will now immediately delete it. I could just turn it on every time I want to watch something and then turn it off, that would work, but it's the principle. Most other apps have the option of only when the app is in use for location services, switch to that and I might be back. You don't need to know my location at all times. ESPN doesn't require that.
