This is truly something special

I first discovered A Dark Room when I was searching for a detective game. However, on the detective game I was planning to download I read one of the reviewers said that ADR was their favorite game on the App Store period. So, I downloaded this instead, I mean for $.99? Come on, what's to lose? I do not consider myself a gamer, I am a reader and I get bad migraines from staying on one of my devices for too long. HD colors tend to bother my vision so when I got this, it was PERFECT! I dedicated the past few days of my life to this game and it has been the HARDEST & MOST SUSPENSEFUL game I've ever played period. I went through a roller coaster of wanting to throw my phone across the room to not being able to stop thinking about the game! It's super addictive. My advice would be "DO NOT GIVE UP". You're going to say to yourself "I don't even know what I'm doing" a lot but just trust yourself. I think I really liked it a lot also because I love reading and it was like jumping into a book for me. IT NEEDS A SEQUEL!!! It really is a beautifully crafted game and you have to really play it in order to appreciate its true worth. I'm going to tell all of my friends and family members to download it. It makes you think intellectually and I plan on getting all of the other games from Amir as well. Thanks for making a sick girl smile again. But, seriously, IT NEEDS A SEQUEL!!!❤️☄2️⃣🔮🚀🤗

The best game on the App Store

A Dark Room is a game I have played and beaten countless times over and over again, and still manage to love each play-through. At first it appears to be a simple text-based, resource collecting game but soon it becomes a game of adventure and exploration. First off the best part to me, The Dusty Path. About an hour into the game you are able to set out and explore a world surrounded by mystery. Take a few steps and you notice you needed more food but you head into the cave anyways. Soon you have your first fight, a giant lizard and get defeated. From that moment on I had a strong desire to conquer the map and uncover it's many hidden secrets. The story is well designed and contains a massive plot twist which is hidden for spoilers. There is a much harder but satisfying second ending if you thought the game was too easy and I can assure you it's much harder than it sounds. The only complaint I had was that when you head out far on The Dusty Path, the game's map/world, you face Snipers which will crush your dreams and stop your adventure in 1 or 2 shots. That's more of me being bad but beware traveling too far. All in all, A Dark Room is a phenomenal text adventure game which is well worth your time and should be recommended to anyone who loves having fun. Easy 10/10

I have never written a review because I haven't found a game that was worth it so here it goes. This game is the best game in the App Store and actually has a deep theme unlike any other game you devs are awesome. This is the only game I have gotten a felling when I finished it and actually looked at what happens and you will to if you get this game and you should because it is the best game in the App Store because you feel bad about yourself after you see what you did throughout the game no other game is even close to this game in my mind. The two devs of this game are awesome they deserve a medal or trophy or something to be recognized by because they deserve it they put in the hours to make it compatible for blind people yes they actually care about showing people this game that can't even see to get their point across not just for the money but to show what people can do when they are greedy. At first I thought it was a scam then I really delved deeper and saw what they were doing with this game the deserve recognition. :)
