Issues w/Piccam
Yep! I was having all the same issues of having lost connection with the server, photos on my device were recognized by the app but not uploading. I even logged off and it wouldn't let me log back in - 'server not found'. I found another reviewer here that said they deleted the app, rebooted their mobile device, downloaded and installed the app again, and it started working again. I went through those same steps and it is truly working again. I think it may have been due to some legacy connection to the Trunx name and that process cleared out the glitch. The main complaint I have is that Piccam support is virtually nonexistent! I'm feeling like maybe they are in some kind of litigation and no one is at the daily helm. I've seen a lot of 'Forever' companies display their interpretation of 'forever' by become extinct like the forever dinosaurs. I guess we'll see. In the meantime I'll just make sure I have my photos stored in more than one 'safe' place.
Cannot access account/Network error messages
Having repeated network error messages and cannot access account. Therefore, I am unable to access all of my pics saved to this app/cloud. Some of these pics were irreplaceable and yet there have been no updates from the developer since December nor any response/attempts at correcting the situation. When the app was labeled as Trunx it was better. It has some issues, but there were at least more updates to fix issues as they came up. Since changing to PicCam, they seem to abandon they're customer base. Very disappointing and upsetting as memories are being held from us.
Love it!
I found that pics that should have been backed up in my iCloud were not when I deleted my iPhone 6 & logged in to my new iPhone 7 yesterday. A few of them were very important to me so imagine how elated I was to find these picture in this app once everything fully downloaded!! This app served its purpose...I always like to have a backup plan when it comes to my pictures
