When Sarah Black, curator at the Caribbean Naval Museum, receives a mysterious package, she is unwittingly drawn into an ancient conflict. As she begins to remove an artifact from the package, assailants instantly descend on the museum and snatch it. In disbelief, Sarah realizes that yet again she is falling headfirst into a nightmare from the deep! Soon she finds herself on the shores of Kingsmouth, a forgotten fishing village with an incredible secret. A would-be messenger reveals the sad truth: he and the town’s other denizens are gradually turning into ghoulish, mutated ocean creatures. Not bad - good puzzles

I bought the full edition because they were having a sale, and I don’t regret it. I made it through the whole story in a day, though, so I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. That being said, I was completely addicted until I finished. The puzzles are just hard enough that it takes some thought to get through them, but not so hard that they’ll hold you up for too long. I like the fact that they’re non-timed, so you can struggle to figure out the point at your own pace. I like this game MUCH more than all the boring hidden-object games I’ve tried. The puzzles are each a little different and usually only repeat themselves once or twice - just enough to reap the reward of having figured out how to solve it. I could have done with a few less hidden-object challenges, but even those have something to figure out. Absolutely zero tech issues. All-in-all, pretty fun.

I guess the thing that I enjoyed the most on this story is that the artwork is lush and the puzzles are interesting. There is nothing too difficult in the game. I did not use a single hint…but that said, there were plenty of times when I wanted to. I played the first game as well as this one and actually prefered the story in this one over the initial story. I look forward to the sequel. These things are relaxing at the end of a hard days work on the farm. Just enough to relax and if I use the harder settings, they can take a few days to complete. Inexpensive entertainment and well worth the money.

Loved the gameplay and story. Usually not one for point and click games, but this was extremely well done. I used the easier setting just to see, and it can still be a little difficult at times so I really liked that. I will probably play again on a harder setting again because this was a really fun game. I loved the artwork and the story was great. Never played the first game, but I guess I’ll play that next. Would love a sequel to this! It certainly leaves it open to one!
