App reset at end
Ordered four pizzas on the app, one specialty pizza and three "create your own". The app reset my create-your-own from the ones I chose to plain cheese pizza. So with a house full of guests I had one specialty, and THREE PLAIN CHEESE PIZZA's. Of course, like an idiot I didn't check the email, because I assumed the app had functioned properly. I'm positive I chose the toppings and it reset at check-out. I'm thinking your new app is in need of some work.
ETA: the CSR rep replied to my concern and clarified that you have to click the toppings choices TWICE to indicate a topping should be on all or one of the the halves. They gave us a credit for the cheese pizzas. So lesson learned, click them TWICE.
The app should allow as many variations as ordering from a server. While there are some options, evidently what the programmer thought would be reasonable, there are many ordering possibilities that aren't provided for. As an example, a pasta dish can have several sauces. The app provides for only "sauce or no sauce". If the app can't do what can be done on phone (voice) ordering, it isn't of any use. One further thing: you can find the nearest one to you, and it will show it on a map, but you aren't able to obtain directions.
Larosa's missed the mark w/ app
I've been waiting a long time for this, even while many of Larosa's competitors already had smartphone apps. And now that Larosa's finally launched an app, many of the customization features that are possible when speaking with their telephone operators (or even using their clunky website) are unavailable on the app. For example, requesting toppings on top of the cheese or having the pizza cut into squares. That said this app is practically useless. Maybe my days of driving passed several other pizza joints to get to Larosa's are over?
