I would put this in my top 10 tower defence games list for sure (I have played an awful lot of them.) Perhaps one of the few things that would add to it would be more levels (which they are promising at this point, I think?)
Well balanced. Good difficulty progression (rather than being P2W, as in easy and then jumping up the difficulty a lot after five missions...)
4th attempt to submit!
I wonder how many reviews are kicked claiming the nickname is taken... When they are not 4 or 5 stars. Hmmm. Don't tell me this one is taken, haha! The reason for my rating is that I do not appreciate the trend of in app purchases. It is obvious now I am on the 13th level that they will be very much required to succeed. Why not a fair price up front rather than the potentially astronomical cost of in app purchases in order to win. I own several games for my PC by this dev and find this trend disturbing.
Lovely little mobile TD game
Gotta say, I was initially turned off. Having played a lot of "Kingdom Rush," I was half expecting something the same. Turns out, it's a good bit different and a lot of fun.
The retro graphics are a nice touch (retro graphics seem to be the cool thing to do these days) and the music fits the game perfectly. The story is amusing to say the least (stop the children from being rescued, more or less) and the upgrade system is well-balanced.
It isn't my favorite app, but it's up there, and it's an excellent deal. If you enjoy casual TD-style gameplay with one-touch control, this is it.
