Ratings and Reviews
UGH, Not at all Stable.
I’ve used a lot of different 3d programs.. Maya, Alias Wavefront (back in the day), Lightwave, 3ds Max, Rhino, Softimage (another oldie), Blender, etc… The UX varied from app to app, I don’t mind the UX for this app but it definitely has it’s learning curve. They all do to be honest with you. What I hate about this app is that it’s pretty much unusable for me. I have one of thew new Macs and have 32gb ram. This App just constantly crashes on me. Constantly. Always at the worst times and it seems to never have a recent autosave that I can re-load so I’m constantly having to redo 15-20 minutes of work. Stabilizing this software should be Autodesk’s primary concern. I like to use this app because it’s fairly easy to create very high precission models with it, once you get passed the learning curve of the UI. Unfortunately this app frustrates me more than it satisfies me so I’m going it a low rating. Stop building out features and focus on bugs and technical debt for your next bunch of releases. Make it stable and usable.
If you need to create precision 3d objects for print, this is a very good software program if you can stand to constnatly restart the software and deal with making 2 steps forward and 1 step back every time it crashes. Get in the habbit of hitting ctrl-s after everything you do. It’s the only way to make sure you don’t lose your work when it crashes.
Get used to it or deal with the frustration.

Decent App With Major Flaws
Fusion 360 is a very powerful and capable app when it comes to its essential tools and workflow. Unfortunately its performance on Macintosh is unbelievably bad, at best.
The app often will not open on the first try, (even on both of my Mac Pro's), it often takes 2 or 3 tries just to get the app to open correctly. The incredibly slow launch time (up to a minute) makes this a very tedious app just to get open.
This app crashes more often than any other application I've ever used, often in the middle of projects. Not to mention its extremely poor viewport performance, such as rotating around an object in 3D space, it just feels laggy and unresponsive. Every other 3D modeling app I use is smooth as butter (Blender, 3ds, Inventor, Maya), so I know it's not just my computers.
Many essential tools to the toolkit seem unnecessarily obtuse to use as well, though that may come down more to personal preferences.
I love AutoDesk and their products, they are a fantastic company with great support for their users, especially those who purchase software. However, I must highly recommend you look elsewhere for parametric product modeling as this app is far too laggy in performance and unstable.
I recommend SW, Rhino, and even other products from Autodesk such as their fantastic "Inventor" and "Alias".

Fantastic for hobbyists
As a professional design engineer I can appriciate Fusion 360. Although I think there are other programs that are more suitable to be used in a professional environment, for example Inventor which is also made by autodesk, I think that Fusion 360 is an incredibly powerfull software that is capable of a lot, but only once the user is familiar with the user interface.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
