I give this 4.5
This was better than the first Enigmatis. It was a fun story with some challenging puzzles and they didn't pile on the lost object puzzles at the end like they did in the first one.
My only complaint is that the hint button failed toward the end. I had to keep restarting the game to get it to work. It would work once and then quit. I had to restart the game about 6 times before I finally got the hint I needed. Otherwise that was the only glitch.
A Great Mystery point-and-click Game!
This is the BEST point and click game of Artifex Mundi game I’ve played so far! Though I didn’t finish the one before it when I first played it a year or so ago (because my computer was having problems and I only got it fixed this year)—or wait, maybe I did? I can’t remember— I could easily follow along with this one. It took a while, but I FINALLY finished it and it was SO FUN AND AWESOME!
It has a GREAT and INTRIGUING storyline and it didn’t take me a day to finish it like “The Secret Order: The Dark City” did. ((It might have been because there was a glitch where I couldn’t see what the Hint button was showing me until I exited to the Main Menu, then pressed play again. UGH…)) But anyhow, the was great all the way through, and I can’t wait for the next one, and see how the main character catches the evil preacher!
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this one!
Crashes my whole computer
I played this game up to the point where it telss you to purchase it. I purchased it and it promptly froze my whole computer. I had to hold the on/off button down to get the computer to shut down. It was the only thing that worked to get out of this game. So I relaunched it and attempted to play. The game didn't show my purchase, so I clicked already purchased and it promptly froze my whole computer again where the only thing I could do to get out of it was shut down again. I'm on a MacBook Air that's only a year old so I don't think it's my comnputer and I have no problem running other games. I deleted the game from my laptoip and I'd like my money back.
