Less fun, the higher the Level
I've been playing SimCity BuildIt for nearly two years now. I loved the game so much that on occasion I would lose track of time, and play past midnight - it was that good. When I reached level 50, I noticed that the game became more difficult, and, well expensive to play. I reached level 50 in the first year. I'm know at level 60, which has taken me about 10 months to do. I realize I'm playing against a computer, which determines the pace of my play. I've been loyal to SCBI as is evinced by my bank account. I've spent upwards of $300 over the course of the game. My biggest complaint is that the Contest of Mayor's "Seasons" are really bizarre. I've only played one because it involved earning fortresses and castles. I would prefer it if you made seasons about realistic metropolitan buildings and structures, rather than the fantasy, cartoonish structures you offer. Take a theme, like for example, famous hotels of the world, and offer seasons which have a famous hotel somewhere in the world as the goal. Also, I don't always want to upgrade my buildings. Not every city is about being a metropolis. What about just having some residential housing, and leave it at that. Last thing, could it be possible to actually have elevation in the city - create some areas of the city that are hilly? And don't flattened once the are bought. Now last thing, I need more land. Are you adding more land, soon?
I have been playing this game for at least eight to nine months started out fine playing the game just fine after start leveling up and adding more to buildings and stuff to my game the problems started to show up. Crashing here and there was not a a problem but know it just getting into the game moving screen around at different angles the game crashes every time I go onto the world market to buy something the game crashes. I cannot complete ship orders or the planes orders because I can't seem to make the products fast enough because game crashes on me. I reported the problem first time they tried telling to this and it download another game on to my original gam and my I upside down from where suppose to be and went into fix problem how they asked to still did not fix the problem then I reported second time in which they come and said all iPad nooks ext. where having crash problems they working on problem until deal with the crashing until we figure out the probables with game in level so my recommendation is if you older iPad, nook or old version that a new one don't down the game unless beat around the crashing, I post at the developer as far as there games goes for them. Funny gam if get it not crash!!!!!!😉
BARELY "playable" just like all mobile games (especially the RTS genre) with "in-app purchases"
So, just like virtually all mobile games that offer "in-app purchases" and especially the real time strategy (RTS) genre, the game is essentially not really playable unless you pay real money. Without paying real money for resources, the pace of the game is awful, at the point of being not playable at all except for the literally 20 seconds a day that you can actually do anything in the game (and then you're done with what you can accomplish that day without paying real money). Seriously, games like this, Mobile Strike, Clash of Clans, and all other mobile RTS games with "in-app purchases" should be required to not refer to themselves as being free to play; they are not. At least, not in a way that is at all enjoyable. Don't bother unless you are into spending real money to buy virtual lumber, nails, etc. Also, the city planning is awful because by the time you have zero room to do anything else, the game will require you to build a new type of structure that there is no room for. Just a bad experience, like all of the new mobile games with in-app purchases. Just assume that whenever you see "in-app purchases" that the game will be unplayable and not at all enjoyable without spending real money. Literally 20 seconds worth of play per day. Fun.
