  “We wanted people to be able to log into the Gumroad app on an iPad and read, listen to, and watch all of the great stuff they buy from creators via Gumroad in an incredibly clean, elegant way. Is that what we meant?”
  
  “Of course that’s what we meant.”
  
  “So not the periscope.”
  
  “We aren’t a hardware—we’ve never—come on. Surely you didn’t think…”
  
  “But imagine how great it would be to not have to hold your iPad away from yourself for FaceTime. Here, check this out.”
  
  “Okay, that’s a really great photo.”

  “We finished it last week. We all thought you left town or something.”
