Caffeinate your Mac with a simple click on its menubar icon or define a custom global hot key. It is fast, lightweight and works great on macOS 11 and above.

The timer feature allows you to control exactly how long Theine should be activated. You can set a custom default duration or choose to caffeinate your Mac infinitely.

Theine looks brilliant in light and dark mode. It is optimised for high-definition retina displays. It follows the idea “as little design as possible”.

Ratings and Reviews
Great Simple App
No upsells, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions... it's so nice to find a simple utility that just does one thing well.
One annoyance is that it seems to keep asking for ratings and reviews, regardless of whether you already *have* submitted a rating or review.
It should really only ever ask for a rating/review once at most, so I hope the developer does fix that in the future. It's the only annoying thing about this otherwise flawless app!
Simple elegance & efficiency
Been using this app through its various iterations for a few years now and have been pleased with its performance. Really like not having to deal with a Preferences page and being able to handle that aspect through the icon drop down menu. It does what I need it to do and makes my life easier by eliminating the annoyance of having to deal with screen timeouts.
Does what it says on the tin
Sometimes, you are doing a Thing without touching the keyboard or mouse. Your computer can't tell that you are doing a Thing. It dims its screen, starts the screensaver, goes to sleep, or otherwise interrupts the Thing because it assumes you are not using it.
