Graphics & Soundtrack
First thing you should know, puzzles aren't heavy throughout the levels.
It's mostly a set track and you wander your way from point to point. It is quite simple and quite short, but the graphics are adorable and the soundtrack is wonderful so ultimately I enjoyed it.
Gameplay was smooth, you could click any point on-screen and obstacles permitting, Poco would wind his way there uninhibited. If you've ever played and point-and-click where this wasn't built in, you know why appreciate it so much!
The real treasure is the unique feel of the game: soft & dreamy, but sharp & futuristic w/ tribal undertones - it's interesting. My only wish is that the game were longer with outright puzzles and totem gods in every level. Poco could even bump into strangers on the road and talk to/help them via mini-puzzles.
If you're story-oriented, you might be left feeling a little hungry, but the soundtrack alone is more than worth the price. If you want something challenging with a heavily developed plot this probably won't scratch that itch, but if you enjoy a relaxing, streamlined session with tunes you're actually interested in, right on - go ahead and click 'Buy'!
p.s. so glad they fixed the elevator capsules level, that track turned out to be my personal favorite! & the ending is super cute, I played it again just to see that one scene! :-) enjoy!
Great graphics, awful music, no "gameplay".
The graphics look amazing. Each environment looks super rich and makes me want to go there.
The music and gameplay are both crap.
The music is complete garbage. One track is just a bass line that repeats literally every 6 seconds. It's repetitive as hell and not enjoyable. And you can't listen to your own music while playing. The app pauses your audio and forces you to listen to its own music.
Even if you like the music, it doesn't match the environments at all. The levels are rich, mystical, and majestic. The music is digital plunk. It's like going to a classical concert but hearing disco music from the orchestra. The music doesn't match the visuals, and it's ridiculous that this game prides itself on its soundtrack.
The story is pointless. It has no impact on the levels or the gameplay. It's totally uninteresting and doesn't add anything to the experience. You can skip all the cutscenes, and you won't miss anything.
Oh wait, the cutscenes are unskippable. Great.
There is no puzzle-solving in this game. It's completely linear. You just activate every button in sight and keep walking forward. There is no thinking required and no challenge whatsoever.
The game looks gorgeous, but it has baby music that doesn't fit the visuals, the story is pointless and unskippable, and "gameplay" that can't even be called that.
Fun, light game
Nice break from the thought-intensive puzzles out there. The graphics were beautiful! You'll either love or hate the music tracks. Most of them I enjoyed but I had to turn off the sound for one because it got on my nerves. I'm not a fan of that style of singing but YMMV.
Unless you have a FB account, you can't download the free exlusive [sic] track. They could have just as easily put it on something like Dropbox so everyone would be able to download the track. I absolutely despise companies that require FB use. IAMYANK, you lost a potential customer because of this.
Overall, I enjoyed the game. It was relaxing and I'll probably play it again at some point when I need a break.
