Inspired by the hilarious new children's book, My Brother is a Superhero, written by David Solomons and published by Nosy Crow.

About the book:

Luke is a comic-mad eleven-year-old who shares a treehouse with his geeky older brother, Zach. Luke's only mistake is to need a wee right at the wrong moment. While he's gone an alien gives his undeserving, never-read-a-comic-in-his-life brother superpowers, then tells him to save the universe. Luke is massively annoyed about this, but when Zach is kidnapped by his arch-nemesis, Luke and his friends only have five days to find him and save the world...

Super-exciting, laugh-out-loud funny, and with enough heart to fill an entire galaxy, this is perfect for fans of Frank Cottrell Boyce. David Solomons is a meteoric new voice in children's fiction.

Not horrible, not the best

Although it's not exactly my type of game, i can see why someone would play or hate this. It's gameplay is quick and requires fast reaction times and problem solving (example: using a bouncer orb to bounce a huge asteroid off the screen instead of using an explosion one to break it up) but you don't always have the orbs you need to do the things you need to do (which is why people dont like the game, i think). Personally think that the game could be much better if the defence orb selection was a bit less random (a tray of abilities maybe?) but over all i think it was a fairly solid game with fair mechanichs and interesting gameplay.

Good game plz add sound controls and back buttons!

The game is frustrating at first but you get the hang of it. I do like the gameplay.

That being said there are some needs improvements. The game needs the ability to turn on and off all sounds. Also, if you go to any other screen in the app there is no way to get back to the main menu and play the game. So you have to shut the app down manually and restart.

Next Flappy Bird?

At first, I didn't seem to understand the appeal of the game. I consistently failed before I even blocked ten asteroids. At a certain point, however, it clicked and I was able to play the game on a much cleaner, more rewarding level.

The game itself lends itself to classic arcade sensibilities while providing an experience that is both short and repayable and perfectly suited for smartphones.
