ilu is a puzzle game.
In every puzzle, all that is dark must light up.
You place a light by tapping a dark area.
You will discover clever ways to place the lights as you play the game.
ilu is light.
You are a keeper of light.
In the vast void of space, countless lost worlds drift in the dark. Planets that have lost their star mothers and are too far and cold for the rays of starlight to warm their dark and frozen features.
It is your mission to terraform these barren planets.
As you spread light through the worlds of ilu, watch the ground light up while colorful and beautifully animated plants sprout as the entire world gently teems with life.

Challenging and fun app, one minor issue
The game is one of logic played on a grid, and the basic idea is to completely fill the grid with light by touching the various squares of the grid. But there are restrictions on how certain parts of the grid can be filled, and therein lies the challenge. Been playing this game a month or two now. I was abysmal in the beginning—no clue what was going on!—but I persevered and made the game my brain challenge. It’s fun!
So now that my brain is better at this, I wish there was one minor issue that could be resolved. As you are working through the grid, you can place “markers” with either a swipe or a double tap to indicate that a particular square can’t logically be illuminated. Lights, by contrast, are placed with a single tap. Now, I am 55, and the fingers aren’t as nimble as they used to be, so I am constantly frustrated that my otherwise perfect score is messed up by the game interpreting my double tap to place a marker as a single tap to place a light. I’ve tried using the swipe instead with no better results. Not sure what I can suggest as an alternative, but perhaps the developers could do some testing on their parents or grandparents to see what they can come up with. After all, it’s our age group that needs this kind of game! ;)

Hi Daboss- Thank you so much for playing, and for this great feedback! We are definitely keeping this in mind :)
Beautiful game, but...
So, I really do love this game, it’s beautiful and relaxing. The varying difficulties are wonderful if you’re looking for something challenging one day and something a little easier the next. I have also noticed that the developer responds to a fair number of these reviews when people bring up problems which leads me to the only complaint I have so far — on the past few levels I’ve played, when I’ve placed a marker on a square to eliminate it, I’ve been penalized with that red bar at the top. It’s incredibly frustrating because I know that square can’t be lit, but I can’t actually place the marker, and on the bigger levels it’s a lot of information to try and keep track of.
Thanks in advance for reading my review!

Hi Dragonlady- Thank you so much for playing :) We are so sorry about this marker bug, and we're going to have a fix available asap! If you press the settings button in the upper righthand corner and switch your marker mode from from Double Tap to Swipe then you'll be able to enter markers without penalty in the meantime. Our apologies again!
I love playing this. It's so fun, relaxing, and I like the look. I'm a little frustrated that when I try to watch a video for 5 ad skips, it almost never actually gives me the ad skips (and yes, I watch until the end and all that). That being said, the ads for each game aren't long so it's tolerable. My two suggestions for the game would be to make it so you can zoom in (especially on the boards with more squares- i frequently hit the wrong square because they're so small. I'm playing on an iPad 9.7"), and to make more variety in the background music tracks. Not big downsides, and not enough to make me not play, just some suggestions!

Hi Jessa- Thank you so much for this great feedback, and for enjoying ilu! We're working on a permanent fix for this ad-skip issue. If you email us we would love to generate you a link for ad-free games! Just press the settings button in the upper righthand corner press "About" at the bottom of that screen, and then press "Contact Support" to email us, and mention it's regarding the ad skip issue :) If you open your iPad's Settings app, press General and then select Accessibility, you'll be able to turn on "Zoom" there - let us know if that does the trick!
