A Wayward Souls Player

I've had your app for years and been using it a lot. Once it stopped working along with the new iOS updates it was saddening.

Then I noticed you finally updated it! Thanks so much for updating your app! I love it and I still use it to tune my ears and practice. You rock

Absolutely Brilliant!

This little gadget is absolutely amazing. I've messed around playing by ear for ages, but iNoteTrainer taught me note position, name and attached both to a pitch faster than years of piano lessons. There is room for improvement. The main menu needs a little work... too many clicks to change the level and/or type of training. Those options could be accomplished with a few separate radio buttons on the main menu. It should definitely have an optional profile mode for wider keys (don't tie it to the orientation of the iphone, make it a conscious selection). These are all 'nice to haves'... the one thing that Pokmis NEEDS to add is a countdown to start. (a la Brain Trainer). Still -- don't let the lack of these features keep you from buying this ridiculously useful little app.

Best out there

This is the best app out there that I've found so far to memorize note locations on the piano. I like some of the stuff in the new update: horizontal, fixed staff lines, more. I like how you can create your own range of notes to test yourself on too. The only downside is that the new update makes the app feel slow and bogged down when navigating through the menus - and seem they seem less iPhone-like (liked the old menus better).

Problems with it not saving custom levels talked about below were fixed in the last version. This is one of my most used apps. Love it.
