So inaccurate that it's worthless

The traffic information continues to be completely inaccurate and at odds both with what I know is true and with Google Maps's predictive routing. INRIX Traffic says that between 7:15 AM and 8:30 AM the traffic on my two-hour commute from Rancho Cucamonga to Santa Monica gets worse and that 8:30 AM is the worst time to leave. I know from years of experience that leaving at 7:15 AM takes FAR longer than leaving at 8:30 AM. Maybe their prediction assumes that 8:30 AM traffic applies to the entire journey? If so, that's completely wrong. Yes, momentary traffic everywhere is worse at 8:30 AM. But if I leave at 8:30 AM, it's close to 10 AM by the time I hit downtown Los Angeles, and I've avoided the worst traffic. I just don't get why their app continues to be so very wrong after so many years (especially after I paid $25 for supposedly "premium" membership a couple years back…what a crock). The only saving grace is the cool functionality this app COULD provide that other apps don't. Too bad it's junk data.

Bring back the secondary route feature!

I have relied on this app every day for years now. I was apprehensive when they said they had a major update. I felt like the app was almost perfect before. I do like some of UI improvements, but overall so horribly disappointed, I will be trying other apps. Besides being cluttered and the fact that it wants me to turn Navigation on for every route (I know this city like the back of my hand, I rarely need Navigation), the biggest loss for me is no longer being able to monitor alternate routes so that I can change at a moments notice. Inrix is fairly accurate in what route I should take, but no app can replace my intuitiveness about this city. I was told it was to make it "safer". This change doesn't even do that - I still can get to alternate routes, I just have to back all the way out to the places screen to do it - how his that safer?

I wish I could go back to the old version. Why fix what isn't broken? Please bring back this feature.

**Updated Review**

Well Inrix, here it is, as promised. With every update you just get worse & lose more of the features that set you apart in the first place. Every time I open this app, I'm greeted with the message that I have no saved places, until it manages to contact your servers. I can no longer see gas stations or traffic cameras along my chosen route, even though I'm not using turn by turn directions. Why? I asked your tech support. By design, they responded. You do not need to know where gas stations are once you've chosen a travel route, nor do you need to see where traffic cameras are. It is a distraction. Look at all the gas stations & cameras everywhere on the map before choosing a route & try to remember. Well gee, I say, thanks for the loss of functionality. Now, to add insult to injury with this latest update, every time I open the app I am prompted to turn on location services. My location services are ALREADY ON!!!
