iPieta contains Catholic documents, teachings, writings, prayers, and liturgical calendars.

The iPieta apps differ only by pre-loaded content: iPieta has all the English content pre-loaded.
Spanish, French, German, and Turkish works can be downloaded (and also removed) within the app.
(iPieta LTE is lightweight since fewer works are pre-loaded.)

Best Catholic app out there

This might seem hyperbole but I've been using iPieta daily since the iPhone 3GS & it truly is the most comprehensive Catholic app currently available. It offers daily Mass readings as well as access to the Bible & a ton of spiritual reading enough for a lifetime.

In addition, the authors of this app are living up Christian charity by continued improvement on the app without asking for upgrade fees. Personally, I will still pay for an upgrade if the time comes for a request. They truly have put in much sweat & I'm sure prayers too in creating & sustaining this app.

May God continue to bless them in their apostolate.

Awesome Catholic Resource!

This is truly an awesome Catholic resource! A must for every serious Catholic who has an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. You have the Bible, prayers, Catechisms, saints and other great resources right at your fingertips. It's also helpful for priests during travels. You have the documents of Vatican I, II Trent and before, Papal Documents, Bible Commentaries and much more. Who has the strength to carry the Summa Theologica around in their arms? With this app, you can hold it in one hand! This app gets two thumbs up!

If you could have only one app for your faith

This would be the one!!! I start every morning with quiet time to read the daily readings of the mass. I then read the "saint of the day" forum Butler's Lives of the Saints. This is a simple way to grow in your faith with only a few minutes a day. There's enough material in this app to let you read all day. I started this practice during lent 4 years ago and never wanted to stop.
