Complete Garbage

I’ve seen some terrible apps over the years, but this one is close to the top of being one of the worst. It is complete garbage - well intentioned, but very poorly executed. If I even attempt to use it (since the latest iOS update), my phone and intouch system both completely freeze. The iPhone can at least be rebooted, the Jag... nope - you have to pull over somewhere to turn off the car, exit, lock the doors, then get back in for the system to restart and unfreeze.

This app needs either a major update or to just be sent to the abyss with the rest of the obsolete apps.

Amazing that the connectivity between my phone and car is much better in a $20k rental car than an $80k high end vehicle.

Complete garbage for sure

Doesn’t stay connected. Can’t work in concert with Apple Music properly. Probably a question of both companies at odds about CarPlay vs. Jaguar’s own app but the customer has to suffer. I even had the new upgrade done for free on my car and then this app started to work until the new iOS came along and now it’s gone back to not working. This is unbelievably disgusting that apple and jaguar are fighting over who controls your data and we have to suffer when in fact Apple still has jaguar on their CarPlay page online as being compatible.

Nearly unusable

Any time I connect my iPhone X to my F-pace via USB, this app attempts to start automatically. I generally have to try two or three times before it stays connected and plays music. It works better on Bluetooth for some reason, but that’s not sustainable on longer car rides. Not sure if that’s an issue with this app or the car system. I’ve had rental cars that work way better. For the price of the vehicle and upgraded entertainment system, I would expect a much better experience.
