A half century after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas, there's still plenty of living history touched by the events of Nov. 22, 1963. Beyond the Texas School Book Depository and Dealey Plaza, important landmarks and key players are slowly being forgotten. These pages are dedicated to documenting this rapidly vanishing history in and around Dallas. Through video, modern and historic images, and an interactive map, this app provides information about the important landmarks and key players. Finally, test your pop culture knowledge with an interactive Conspiracy Quiz.

This is a useful and interesting app. The tone is entertaining but factual. I also like the way it allows you to easily follow the many facets of this story through menus, photo and video galleries and an interactive map.
I particularly enjoyed the interactive map. You can see all of the important sites and their relationship to each other and the motorcade route. The map also allows you to follow Oswald's escape from the book depository - it's an almost logistically impossible getaway on foot, city bus, and taxi. It really makes you wonder how Oswald made such complicated tracks yet still found himself in Oak Cliff 30 minutes later at the site where Officer Tippit was killed.
